No, Cell Long Distance works with your existing cell phone and any cell phone carrier

Are there any monthly fees or system access fees?
There are no hidden fees or charges with Cell Long Distance.
With the Global - Pay As You Go Plan, there is no monthly fee at all. You will only be charged for the minutes that you use. If you do not use any minutes during a monthly period, you will not be charged anything during that period.
If you choose one of the unlimited plans, you will be charged the unlimited plan charge, of either $9.95 for the Unlimited Canada & USA Plan or $19.95 for the Unlimited Select International Plan, at the beginning of the monthly period. With these plans, calling to any destinations outside of the unlimited destinations will be charged at our Global plan per minute rates at the end of the monthly period.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes you can cancel your service anytime by contacting our customer support line at 1-866-355-0187. We will bill you one last time for the final outstanding amount on your account.
4. Is it safe to use my credit card?
Cell Long Distance takes the utmost precautions to ensure the security and privacy of all of your information.
Cell Long Distance uses SSL technology, from an industry leader
GoDaddy , to ensure a secure link between your Internet browser and our system. This is the same technology used to ensure a secure link for online banking or at brand name ecommerce sites. To confirm that you have a secure connection , in Internet Explorer, look for a closed padlock symbol either next to the address bar at the top of the browser in Internet Explorer 7 or in the Status Bar at the bottom of the browser in earlier versions of Internet Explorer.

How do I look at my bill and usage
information?
Unlike calling card or other pre-paid services, Cell Long Distance will email you a detailed bill every month with a breakdown of every call made during the monthly period.

Will my cell phone carrier still
charge me for usage?
Yes, you will still be responsible for local calling minutes when
using the Cell Long Distance service. By using the Cell Long Distance service, you avoid
the additional long distance charges from you cell phone company.

Can I use Cell Long Distance from other cities?
Cell Long Distance has Access Numbers in a growing list of communities. Refer
to our
Access
Numbers page for the latest list of serving areas.

Can I have more than one phone on my
Cell Long Distance account?
Yes, you can register up to 10 phones on one Cell Long Distance customer account. Each registered phone must have it's own dedicated plan.

Do I need a PIN or card number?
No, Cell Long Distance is much simpler than calling cards and does not need
PIN or other calling card type numbers.

Do I need to pre-pay to use the
Cell Long Distance service?
No pre-paying is not necessary. We will bill your usage at the end
of every month.
11. Does Cell Long Distance require any software downloads?
No Cell Long Distance does not require any software downloads. It works with
your phone as it is today.
12. Can I use Cell Long Distance from my home phone?
Yes, though Cell Long Distance is designed for cell phones, it can also be
used from a home phone by registering the home phone number on your
account.
13. When I dial the Cell Long Distance Access Number, I get a
message that says that my phone has not been activated
Log in to your account to confirm that your correct phone number is
registered. As well, Cell Long Distance needs to see your caller ID to
recognize your phone. Please ensure that your caller id is not
blocked or set to private. If it is, please dial *82 in advance of
dialing the Cell Long Distance Access Number. If these suggestions do not resolve your issue, please contact our
Customer Support.
14. If I am calling from outside my home city, will I
still have to pay a roaming charge?
This depends entirely on your cell phone carrier and its rules
around roaming charges. Cell Long Distance enables you to save considerable
costs on the long distance component of a call but does not impact
the roaming component.
